Q: What are you doing this summer?
A: This summer I'll try to please people around me, play and sing a lot, and hopefully compose a few songs. Preferably while "loffing" around visiting different villages. And I'll visit some culture schools that have invited me.
Q: How do you remember your childhood's summers?
A: I remember lots of travelling and music. And huge amounts of water! But also practicing and disipline. It was particularly nice getting an icecream when I felt I had deserved one.
Q: How is a perfect summer day?
A: A summerflirt or ten, and a little sunrain.
Q: What is your favourite summer passtime?
A: Water sports. Not that I'm very good at it, but I think windsurfing and water scooter is really fun.

A: My favourite place when it is summer is between Lyngdal and Farsund on the south coast. It is a small paradise called Spind, with lots of cows and mosquitos. My family has had concerts on Sørlandet (south coast) for 15 years now.

A: My best memory is my first love. I was 17. I have forgotten all the arguing and uncertainties, and remember only two young people in love sitting on a boat.
The worst was when it was raining when we went to Tusenfryd. I was little and sad for the rest of the vacation.

Tessa. I think I translated it before that video was out (saturday morning) at least I didn't find anything else. I just saw people asking for it and made a quick translation drinking my morning coffee. But I'm glad you made a complete vide with translation. You do a great job.

It was done right after the show Friday, it just take some time to sync the translation with the video and make subs. Julia or Yannis are uploading the dance inkl extra materiall direct from the live broadcasting, they dont use the video from TV4, Just ask them if someone has started translation to their videos, they will know about it. If no one has done it, you will get access to their video, and can make the translation according to their recording. It's just great if we are more people who can share working with translations.

Norwegian musician Alexander Rybak makes a very good impression - an open, smiling, slightly shy young man who simply discourages by his sincerity and naivete. And at the same time Alexander talks wisely and sensibly about a lot of things. In an exclusive interview with "Samaya" ("The Most") the musician spoke about his new russian album, why he doesn't want to fall in love ever more and why he likes Americans.
Love has to flow out from friendship.
I wouldn't like to fall in love anymore. I clearly separates these two feelings - love and affection. Being affected a man doesn't clearly realize whether he really needs an object of his dreams but yet loses control over his emotions. This feeling is destructive. It is impossible to build a true relationship on it's basis. Therefore I think that love should flow out from friendship. This is the only way to create strong family.
Don't hesitate to smile at strangers.
Recently my new album "Europe's Skies" has been released. I recorded entire six songs in russian. I wanted somehow to make a special declaration of love to the beautiful country of Russia and I decided to do it that way. The creation of the album was inspired by nature. It's a nature that mostly inspires me generally but not women for example. I like to travel. I have been to many places, but I liked America most of all. I am impressed that people there don't hesitate to smile at each other in contrast to Russia. And yet in America they don't worry too much for trifles, there they think globally.
Fairytale in reality.
Music to my most famous song "Faitytale" I wrote within just five minutes standing on top of one norwegian mountain. For the creation of this music I was inspired by nature itself. When I was writing the text on this music I was remembering somehow my failed first love. All my songs I first show my mother: she likes almost everything I do. My father is much stricter, so when he liked the song "Faitytale", I realized that I had written a real hit. And immediately I began thinking about how it would be cool to go with this song to Eurovision Song Contest. By the way many people ask me if I was scared to perform at the Eurovision. The answer is: not scared at all, because I'm a violinist and I used to perform much more complicated stuff like the classics. Therefore a performance of this easy song was just an amusement for me.
I want to be like the wind.
I really like the crazy rhythm, I want to keep up everywhere. And that my feature once have been noticed by my girl friend. She told me so: "You are like the wind, you want to be everywhere, to embrace everything!" And I was very pleased that she has understood me. Perhaps it was the most pleasant words I ever heard to my address. And I am happy when people tell me about my kindness, that I am attentive to the people, not indifferent to them.
True friendship.
Since I became famous I have got many friends. But they constantly request me about something: someone wants to sing a duet with me, someone asks me to promote his album and stuff like that. Don't think that it offends me: I think it's quite ok. But I have one friend, also a violinist, who never and in no way tries to use me. Its him I consider as my best friend. We share almost everything, always call up. We like to play together computer games very much and dedicate at least two hours a day to it.
How to train your dragon.
Recently I had an interesting experience: I voiced the role of the protagonist in the Norwegian version of the cartoon "How to Train Your Dragon". And I was invited to voice two versions of this movie at once - russian and norwegian. But with the russian one it went wrong, I'm not very fluent in that language often mispronouncing words. I have realized that I can't speak Russian correctly and give my soul to it simultaneously. Therefore I had to refuse from working on the Russian version.

Norwegian musician Alexander Rybak makes a very good impression - an open, smiling, slightly shy young man who simply discourages by his sincerity and naivete. And at the same time Alexander talks wisely and sensibly about a lot of things. In an exclusive interview with "Samaya" ("The Most") the musician spoke about his new russian album, why he doesn't want to fall in love ever more and why he likes Americans.
Love has to flow out from friendship.
I wouldn't like to fall in love anymore. I clearly separates these two feelings - love and affection. Being affected a man doesn't clearly realize whether he really needs an object of his dreams but yet loses control over his emotions. This feeling is destructive. It is impossible to build a true relationship on it's basis. Therefore I think that love should flow out from friendship. This is the only way to create strong family.
Don't hesitate to smile at strangers.
Recently my new album "Europe's Skies" has been released. I recorded entire six songs in russian. I wanted somehow to make a special declaration of love to the beautiful country of Russia and I decided to do it that way. The creation of the album was inspired by nature. It's a nature that mostly inspires me generally but not women for example. I like to travel. I have been to many places, but I liked America most of all. I am impressed that people there don't hesitate to smile at each other in contrast to Russia. And yet in America they don't worry too much for trifles, there they think globally.
Fairytale in reality.
Music to my most famous song "Faitytale" I wrote within just five minutes standing on top of one norwegian mountain. For the creation of this music I was inspired by nature itself. When I was writing the text on this music I was remembering somehow my failed first love. All my songs I first show my mother: she likes almost everything I do. My father is much stricter, so when he liked the song "Faitytale", I realized that I had written a real hit. And immediately I began thinking about how it would be cool to go with this song to Eurovision Song Contest. By the way many people ask me if I was scared to perform at the Eurovision. The answer is: not scared at all, because I'm a violinist and I used to perform much more complicated stuff like the classics. Therefore a performance of this easy song was just an amusement for me.
I want to be like the wind.
I really like the crazy rhythm, I want to keep up everywhere. And that my feature once have been noticed by my girl friend. She told me so: "You are like the wind, you want to be everywhere, to embrace everything!" And I was very pleased that she has understood me. Perhaps it was the most pleasant words I ever heard to my address. And I am happy when people tell me about my kindness, that I am attentive to the people, not indifferent to them.
True friendship.
Since I became famous I have got many friends. But they constantly request me about something: someone wants to sing a duet with me, someone asks me to promote his album and stuff like that. Don't think that it offends me: I think it's quite ok. But I have one friend, also a violinist, who never and in no way tries to use me. Its him I consider as my best friend. We share almost everything, always call up. We like to play together computer games very much and dedicate at least two hours a day to it.
How to train your dragon.
Recently I had an interesting experience: I voiced the role of the protagonist in the Norwegian version of the cartoon "How to Train Your Dragon". And I was invited to voice two versions of this movie at once - russian and norwegian. But with the russian one it went wrong, I'm not very fluent in that language often mispronouncing words. I have realized that I can't speak Russian correctly and give my soul to it simultaneously. Therefore I had to refuse from working on the Russian version.

FRIDA has danced with Alexander Rybak
His fingers are used to dance over the violin strings with wonderful results, but how fast our Norwegian singer favourite can move his feet, is about to be documented during today's dance lesson with Alexander Rybak.
Going to the room where the singer exercises his abilities with his partner Malin Johansson, we pass some charming obstacles like a freshly showered Andreas Weise and Björn Ranelid eating lunch. He greets us with at least five "hej". But today we are Team Alexander and hurry from his contestants.
I change into the dress that shall cover my skin while my lacking dance skills are exposed, and am ready to face Alexander himself.
- You could do some pirouttes, suggests the photographer. - No! I'm lousy on pirouttes, Alexander protests.
- Do some rumba then, you said you could, says Malin, his dance partner.
- No, I said I might think about doing it, Alexander answers.
I let my breath out, realizing that I'm not completely surrounded by professionals. We are meeting Alexander a few weeks before Let's Dance is starting, and he hasn't got too comfortable in his dance shoes yet. Finally the decision falls on a classical waltz and some more (or less) beautiful poses.
You, a Norwegian, what do you do in the Swedish Let's dance?
I am going to dance like everybody else?
Hehe, yes, but what made you accept?
Because this is Sweden and because it's a show where you are exposed as a person. In Norway I have got to show off lots of sides of myself and had big success, now I want to do the same here because I like Sweden. So I really just want to get famous in Sweden, it's just that I have to dance to do it.
Are you an experienced dancer?
No (laughs).
What makes you most nervous?
That I'll be the worst of all (in the show).
Who do you regard as your biggest rival?
Björn is a very charming guy, he is very good. He's got a great pondus. I'm so light, I just bounce around, that is my worst problem.
Who is your dream dance partner?
Natalie Portman, I think.
What are you like on the dance floor when you go to a night club?
I usually dance, but more in the Michael Jackson-style. You know, like most young people. Not at all as soft as we do in Let's dance.
What kind of music do you prefer to dance to?
Oldfashioned swing, like "Mambo nr 5" .
Do you want to ask a girl to dance, or be asked?
I want to ask. But the style of dance I usually dance, you don't have to ask.
Do you practice dancing with your girlfriend at home?
No. There is a girl waiting for me back home, but when I finally get home after a lot of touring, you want to do other things than dancing.
There's been a lot of writing about you being short-tempered in different newspapers, are you going to loose your mind if you are doing badly in Let's dance?
A lot of stuff was going on around me when that happened. A girl was exploiting me, and I was forced to sing two duets that I didn't want to sing. But I just get cranky with other people, and I have no reason to get cranky when it comes to dancing because that is only about me. Plus, I have the most patient dance partner in the world, so I can't get angry.
When are we going to hear more from you?
I just released my second album that has been selling very well both in Norway and in Sweden. So now I would like to do something Swedish, like working with Mats Paulson.

The same company also denies orders from Turkey, considering this market "false".
With their act, Keep of Kalessin declare strongly their individuality in a way that no other black metal force has ever been able to do. Whenever other great names of this genre rested in themselves and generated worthless immitations, these jackals managed to find new ways to multiply their enemies and confuse those who tried to follow their path, while they also sneaked in the pockets of Lordi. That's the true spirit of Black Metal and it appeared for the second time on the Eurovision stage. Hate them, you fools.
