A Finnish newspaper “Kaupunkisanomat” had today an article about Alex.

It’s title was: Alexander Rybak – lovely talent…

Hearts were captured also in press conference of the concert (= Elämä Lapselle). Female Journalists almost purr. They need much time for his interview, although they wrote only a short article….

Alexander's autographs were very desired and the artist wrote them with smile.

On the day after concert three ten years old girls were almost in nirvana. They squeezed about A4 size papers in their hands. They all have a photo of Alexander. Inside a shopping mall there was a long line consisting of teenagers. I was not hard to quess who was signing autographs there (my own comment: there were also others than teenagers :-).

Fairytale
Rybak won ESC with 389 points. Norwegian folk music has influenced Fairytale and the song was original enough. The song differentiated itself from the other songs already in the previews and not only because of the cute artist. Rybak's debut album Fairytales has been sold in 25 European countries. It has been sold triple platinum in Norway in a couple of months, gold in Sweden and platinum in Russia.

In Norway Rybak has also made history occupying the two top places at chart, Fairytale at number one and Funny Little World at number two.

On tour
Because of the win in ESC Rybak has been playing in many countries. Also in Finland he has visited more than once creating hysteria. In Norway he has been in front of more than 200.000 people during his 40 shows. During his tour starting on October and lasting till DecemberRybak will perform in arenas having 1000 - 4000 spectators.

Shooting Star or Super Star?
Only ABBA and Celine Dion have made a long career after ESC win. How will it be with Alexander Rybak? The time will show if he is only a short living shooting star or will this be a start for a long glorious career.
