I do not mind having a bit of a pain
Alexander Rybak is proud of the love- sorrow.

Ever since Alexander Rybak revealed, that his song "Fairytale" was written about an ex-girlfriend, the media has been very concerned, with this love story between the young couple.
Alexander Rybak wrote his massive hit "Fairytale" after the relationship between him and the violinist Ingrid Berg Mehus ended.

In an interview with VG, Rybak explains why he wants to record the music video for the song, on the island where he moarned the break-up.

- I can not imagine a more appropriate location. I think, that no matter how hard?(kjipt) love life can be, I will always have this island, "says Rybak to VG, about being back at the place where he had broken heart.
- I have the white Russian side of me, that I do not mind, having a bit of a pain. We like to suffer a little, "says Rybak to VG, and says that people in Belarus are proud to have broken hearts and that they probably break up with each other to experience it.

- "Yes, yes,, yes, are you crazy? "says Rybak to the question from VG, if he is proud, to have had this love-sorrow.
