When Rybak decided to participate in the Norwegian analogism to “Star Faktory”, he heard immediately: “Play classical music, you´re a professional of that”. And he declare, that he will play ... jazz. They discouraged him: «Don’t be fool, you´ll lose! » And he stuck to his decision and he won. Then Sasha applied for a qualifying round of Eurovision. And again he had to listen to endless objections: they sad, such competition is nonsense; it is nothing for a student of conservatory. They criticized his song - if you´ll act, then with a proven solution that is with jazz. But he resisted: spit (Rubbish!), I don’t want jazz, I´ll sing my «Fairytale». Then long time Sasha advocated the need to participate in his act dancers.

«I argue, not because I like to do it. Just I intuitively feel what my way is. It would be much nicer if people supported my idea, but what if they don´t? I really do not like to swear, I want to be a soft man. You see, I am smiling all the time. But I defended my views to the end. Right now, I have an offer to play a major role in the performance of the most famous Norwegian violinist Ole Bull - next year will celebrate 200 years since his birth. I have again my idea: instead of theatrical productions I propose to do the movie ... I often offend against the laws of show business. Because for me, money has never been the most important in life. Even, when some of it appeared by me, I lost it in a stupid way. Whit my first big royalty of 40 thousand Euros for the victory in the TV show I bought a big TV, which I has no time to watch, and share, which are now greatly depreciated.
Only lately my manager, without my knowledge, canceled a concert in Sweden, because Germany of paid more for my performance. I get to know that from the newspaper and was furious - how could so deceive the public? Whatever they offer/pay, such a behavior is forbidden. The first thing I done, I hit the wall so that the door shuddered. I contacted the news paper and explained the situation. And then, I called the manager and explained that such an act is not allowed. There are too many people in this world to think only about the business of profit. And they advise me to be more thriftier/economic. But I'm not going to live only for money. I believe in other things – in disinterested friendship and in the fact that music helps people to live ».

Few people understand Sasha when, despite he was in the last course, because the participation in Eurovision, he drop classes at the conservatory. Musician in the third generation has remained without a diploma. «It is important not to hang the paper on the wall, but rather I am not ashamed at the scene - said Rybak. - I have started a great touring life, and it will be foolish to abandon concerts, only to finish conservatoire. I´ll necessarily receive a diploma – at 11 August in the Opera House I´ll play a concert for a diploma, and then I´ll slowly/ quietly pass remains ».
The nearest plans of Rybak are concerts in his native country Belarus. After winning the «Eurovision» Rybak was immediately invited to Minsk. There he sang in Belarusian «Kupalinka», which his mother sang for him, it was a child. Hall with thousands of spectators applauded, that Sasha did not just burst into tears ...
