Review in the paper edition of Dagbladet - of the Opera show last night: (translated by me - so excuse any faults in grammar)

The Fiddler Duel

Alexander Rybak invited parents and friends to a party in the Opera. And when Arve Tellefsen emerged there was a sparkling fiddler duel.

A sold out Operahouse in Oslo gave the popular artist a warm welcome. There was a varied show where the main character showed his musical span and artistic skills.
The interaction, debate and clowning with Arve Tellefsen was a hit.
- I wanted to show us up in a not so solemn frame - all these great and famous people, Alexander said after the concert to Dagbladet.

Tellefsen took off
Arve Tellefsen first played a fiddle fine Bach-piece together with the kid. Then they both released on the collar, improvised and clowned.
We have just barely seen Tellefsen in the fun call-corner since the time with Kaare Ørnung.

An miracle in the Opera
The concert, which will appear in two edited 25-minute programs on TV2 this fall, was opened by Alexander in interaction with his parents Igor and Natalia Rybak.

And that we got. From Russian melancholy by Grieg with the Barratt Due Junior Orchestra - to 91-year-old “grandmotherfriend” Mathilde Marker, who performed "Hvit syrin" and described her opera-debut as a miracle – to huge applause.

Dennis on the roof
Part two of the program was more POP with Frikar, The Bobbysocks-girls and Stephen Ackles. Although it was faults and technical problems, Alexander and his friends took the audience with their charm.
Actor Dennis Storhøi was still in a class of his own. He took the Opera roof with power and song from "Fiddler on the roof".

Alexander Rybak is an inalienable talented musician. But as an entertainer, he is larger. The performance was a charmer leg.
- I been looking forward to this concert for a long time "the talent says.
