That Alexander Rybak sings for AftonbladetTV's viewers, has to be seen as an exception. The soon 23 year old Norwegian is booth the Eurovision fans and the bookmakers favorite to victory in this years Eurovision song contest, but he has become that almost completely whitout marketing and promotion tours.

-Now you're in Sweden. How many more countries have you had time to visit during this Eurovision circus?
--How many countries? None.
-Is Sweden the only one?
--Yes, it's because we have a record contract here with Lionheart, and because here it's really realistic for me to be an artist in Sweden. In the other countries, I really value those who like my songs, and I have so much respect for them that I don't want to do a promotion tour before I have a CD, an album. So that's why I rather wanted to work on my album.
I have to have that much respact for people that I have something to come with when I comes.
--I believe that at least 95 percent of the millions that watch Eurovision that night haven't looked at youtube or betting odds, or anything, gylleneskor or gay magazines, or whatever, they are just an ordinary family that gather on a Saturday night for some family entertainment.
