Here is translation of this interview:
It started with the life career of Alex, wich we knew as well. The host (a man) talk about where he is born, imigrations of his parents and what they do, Alex´s participation in „Idol“, his ESC´s record and in which coutries his song is number one alredy. „Fairytale“ like the poeple in Poland, too, then they voted for it in compatition for „Best summer song“ (by this radio station)
After the song "Fairytale"starts:
Radio host (RH): Your father is a violinist and your mother a pianist , what do you think, how could it affect you as a musican?
Alexander (A): When you're a kid, you think everything what the parents say is right. My told me that music could be my future. So I believed them and they was right. But when I was 13-14 years old, I discovered that I can, I have very nice opportunity, to make music other than classical music.
RH: You started to play the piano and violin when you were 5 years old. By contrast, on the official website of the Eurovision Song Contest is written, that you are a child prodigy. How do you feel with that?
A: It's very nice, although of course I am no longer a child. I am 23 years, so it's very interesting that people still treat me, a little bit like a young boy. But I treat it as a compliment.
RH: You were born in Belarus, but as a 4-year-old you moved to Norway. Do you still feel some attachment to your homeland?
A: Yes, of course. I like rainy days. They remind me of home. I have a some kind of nostalgia in me, characteristic for Belarusians, which is trying to bring to my music. Fortunately, my countrymans still see me as Belarusian. That is nicest. And it's also a great relief.
There follows: 12 points go to Norway x4 times…
RH: Your song "Fairytale" won in this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Do you expect to so much popularity?
A: No, never, I did not expect. It is really amazing, still can not believe it. Sometimes I wake up, and on my face coming up a big smile, when I realize what happened.
RH: You are also very popular in Poland, you know that?
A: No, I did not know, a great surprise.
A: Hello all beautiful listeners of „Summer with radio“ (he says it IN POLISH!: D) and how you can hear it for sure, I do not know Polish very well, but I would very much like to visit your country, I wish you a beautiful summer. Straight from Norway talk Alexander Rybak and I wishing you a nice day.
