A little better translation and explanation even if it's just a funny little story, but it shows how polite and nice Alexander is :-)

It's proberly a prank. The leadingrole in "Jesus Christ Superstar" is played by a man with the artistname "Hank von Helvete", in English that is "Hank from Hell". The pastor asks several of the celebrities what they think of that a man by that name is going to play Jesus.

Like most others who had taken the trip to the theater, Alexander apparently didn't know if the "pastor" was joking or not, and was, therefore, politely, if slightly confused, listening and responding to his questions.

But when the pastor threw himself down on his knees and began to sing phrases from "Jesus Christ Superstar",then it was all too much for the 23-year-old, who almost stormed into the theater.
