Translation:

A: Hello! Well, finally I’ve come again.
J: Alexander, have you learnt a few words in Ukrainian yet?
A: No, I’ve learnt a few words in Russian.
J: And which words are new?
A: Well, which I’m saying now. I’ve been practicing a lot with my mum to say at least something.
J: You’ve had some real adventure with your violin just now?
A: No. What the adventure?
J: At customs house?
A: At customs house? Ah, this is the adventure? Well, we how to say this – have declared it.
J: You called some experts, antiquarians to check it out.
A: Yes, but it was not me who called them.
J: So, has it torn out to be the real one? Have you made sure that this is an antique thing?
A: Well, I don’t know, I just came in and came out. That’s all.
J: Are you coming together with Frikar? (not clear)
A: I hope so. There were problems with the plane. The rest of the team is taking a flight through Amsterdam, so they were a little bit late. I hope they will come soon.
FB: Do you like the weather today? Is it better than on the last time?
A: Hah?
FB: How is the weather today to you? Is it better than on the last time?
A: Well, yes. Though it was raining on the last time but anyway….
FB: We were meeting you on the last time.
A: Thank you. But anyway I liked Ukraine very much then.
A: (not clearly understandable) you always have to go around with your violin. But this one is not mine, I’m borrowing it.
J: From whom?
A: From bank.
J: What will be special at your concerts in Ukraine, which songs have you prepared to sing here? Since you’ve said that your father has told you a lot of interesting things and he likes this country.
A: Yes, he likes the nature the most.
J: What has he told you and what are you going to sing?
A: I don’t think that I’ll sing something Ukrainian.
J: Why not?
A: I don’t know. Are there any famous Ukrainian songs?
J: There are many of them.
A: I mean in Russian. Are there any? Or Ukrainian songs are in Ukrainian?
J: There are a lot of famous Ukrainian folk songs. By the way, you promised to learn something on the last time.
A: I hardly have learnt them in Belarusian language. I am ashamed actually because it’s needed to know the language. But the main thing is that I’ve learnt several songs (in Belarusian?).
J: You have already tasted borsch and I know that today they treated you to sushi.
A: Yes. And borsch is the Ukrainian (dish)?
J: Yes.
A: Ooh, I like it very much. Especially with meat.
J: What do you know about cities you will be performing at? Why are these cities precisely on your tour over Ukraine?
A: Well, I wanted to get to know the biggest cities. There are no more reasons actually.
J: I know that you have insisted that the tickets to you concerts would be accessible. Why?
A: What is it “accessible”?
J: Accessible by price.
Man: Not expensive.
A: Aah, well, yes. I’d like that everybody could listen to me, who wants to, no matter what their economic situation is – good or bad.
J: Do you like it when audience sings along with you, dances along with you or it’s better when they just listen to you?
A: To dance along unlikely, the most important to sing along, yes. Because we are who dance.
J: Which songs do they sing along to? Only Fairytale?
A: Yes, they sing along to Fairytale. And Roll with the wind, it’s a new song. I don’t know if they have started to rotate it here or not. No?
J: Yes.
A: It’s a new song.
J: And I know that you have translated Fairytale (in Russian?) We didn’t hear it in Ukraine yet.
A: Well, maybe you will hear it. The English version is closer to me, I’ve written it actually. But I like the translation very much.
J: On the last time you said that your heart was free. Is it still free?
A: It’s hard to say.
J: Not so free yet?
A: Ask me in two months.
J: Why is this term exactly?
A: Or in a month.
J: Ok, deal.
