PART 6
After having won Eurovision, Alexander returned to Oslo straight away. When the plane had driven up to the terminal, four fire-engines started to shower it. Alexander Rybak was met in Norway as if he were a retiring pilot. It's a sign of the highest recognition in Norway.
A.S.: - I telephoned Igor and Natasha. They were also astonished. Norway's main clock, situated at the town hall's tower in Oslo, plays “Fairytale” 6 times per day. Alexander's song has practically become the second national anthem, and he became a hero of the nation. I know that there is a group created on some popular web-site, called “Mothers who wish to have Rybak as their son-in-law.” There are more than thousand members. [I afraid I have never heard about that.]
- Hasn't Sasha caught the star-fever?
A.S.: - I believe that he hasn't. Having arrived to his home town, Nessoden, he gave a concert at a school yard for the local people. I heard that in France, Igor has met Alexander Zatsepin [a famous Russian song-writer who wrote songs for many classical Soviet movies]. Zatsepin wished Sasha to perform his songs. Of course, Igor is very happy now. His son has accompished everything that Igor couldn't.
