P: So, that is what you have said – if all Belarussians agree I’m glad to say – if I become a winner of the Eurovision a half of my victory is belarussian.
A: Of course.
P: Did you say that?
A: (just smiles:)))
P(to audience): I don’t hear audience’s reaction (and there’s the applause after these words)

A: It’s very strange that many (people) in Russia also, and in Belarussia and in Ukraine, say “Wow, you practiced so hard, but I used to think that this is such a Russian school to… how to say… children must practice/study (smiles)… The only thing I was always saying when I was Norway is, when I had to practice for 2-3 hours every day while all the others were walking outdoors… walking? Walking? (he was not sure how to say it in Russian, but it was a right word:)
P: Walking, walking.
A: Yes?... Amm… And always… well, sometimes I was even crying and asking my mother why it’s me who has to practice and she said that everybody in Russia does that way.(smiles…)

P: … Tell us…
A: So, my father was born in Vitebsk… Hmmm… Mother… It seems to me aaaalso (stirring his lips in a funny way) was born in Vitevsk… (audience laughs: )) but….
P: But you for sure were born in Minsk.
A: I was born in Minsk, yes.

A: My mother lived in Minsk, and my father was born and lived here (in Vitebsk). So I remember almost next to nothing… (audience laughs)…. I… 4-5… When I was 4-5 years old, at that time it seems to me we visited this town (Vitebsk)

A: Here there’s such a tradition, in Belarussia, when you are visiting somebody… then there are always the same cakes, the same… tee, coffee… so for me.. I have already been visiting so many people and always it’s the same… All this is very tasty, I like this tradition, but after I never remember at whom I was …. (a charming embarrassed smile :)

(Woman from audience): Alexander, I heard that you liked very much zephyr (marsh-mallow) at your arrival at Minsk. (Approving nod from Alexander) and what another belarussian dish do you remember, what do you remember from your childhood at your grandmother, what did she cook special for you? (very charming Alexander’s laugh) Do you like cooking? I’ll bombard you with questions now….
A: Yes, I understand, yes… but zephyr it isn’t a dish!

Woman: Very good sense of humor.
A: I like… in Norway we call them “kolduny” (I guess everybody knows already what is it%))) and it seems to me here it’s called “dryaniki” (here he made a veru funny error in pronunciation of this word and it sounded similar to another Russian word… how to explain %))) well, it was very funny!)
Woman (correcting him): Draniki
A: Draniki. And does anybody know what it’s kolduny?
Woman: Yes, we know.
A: Ah, however it exists! It’s my favorite food, not only from belarussian food, but in the whole world.

A: If I’m in my mother’s house it’s she who cooks …
Woman: And you?
A: …and if I’m in mine… then I cook (audience laughs)

A: I even haven’t got any time for my closest friends…

A: I would like to appear to a composer (yes he said “appear to a composer” %)) but for sure it wasn’t what he was trying to explain: )… can I say “appear to a composer…”? Ehmmm…. Because I think in 4-5 years I won’t be such an idol for little kids, so… (audience laughs) It would be interesting…just… especially if I found a wife who knows… so then… may be… of course… it would be difficult to have a wife and touring in the same time… So at that time it would be nice to be a composer, may be to write music for movies.
