II part

A: It’s sad when there’s nobody around me, and then I’m sad. And I always, with a big pleasure after the concerts... for example yesterday I had a concert in Trondheim in Norway and after the concert I thought - Oy, a crowd was too big but I would try as much as possible…autographs… to write autographs… well you understand me. And some time went by and then there were already 50-80 persons, and so… I also gave them and I was very glad (yes he said that way:). And it turned out that I was standing for 4 hours there... And It’s already becoming also a tradition that I like very much to write autographs… It’s very very very pleasantly for me, I like communicating with people.

A: What do I know about Slaviansky Bazaar?… It’s…. Hmmmm… Bazaar. Yes-yes-yes…. (audience laughs because of a little play on words with “bazaar”’s meanings…)…Bazaar… Slaviansky… (so you can conclude that he doesn’t know anything about it %)))

A: My mother was very glad when she knew that I would be here.

A: It’s strange to me now to meet all the stars, the big stars which I saw only on television…

A: To be honest we didn’t know about Patricia Kaas… It’s in Russia she is… (a star he would say and he was right : ) In Norway nobody knows about her, yes…
A: But instead, Andrew Lloyd Webber, when he approached me… Then I didn’t really know what to say. He proposed to me a role in his musical (smiles)…
(A voice from audience): In which musical?
A: I don’t know, we had to leave…. (:DDDD it was a good reason)

A: … the most interesting that you…o, no, You …
(and here he say “you” like “you (is)” and normally to strange people we say “You (are)”, it’s more polite. You know in English there is no difference, it’s always “You (are)”, but in many languages there “You (are)” like a polite form, and “you (is)” like an informal one… I hope you understand what I’m trying to say %)))) Alexander always says that it’s very difficult for him when he speaks Russian to distinguish to whom say “you (is)” and to whom “You (are)”)

A: No, no, I understand – you and You. You know we haven’t it in Norway…
P: In Norway it’s always “you (is)” as far as I know..
A: In Norway it’s “you (is)”, but I understand that here to respectable people… but I don’t know for whom I have to have respect and for whom not!
(And the audience laughs because it’s soooo funny :DDD… Actually, how can you know?.. %))

A: And grandmother Maya can already read sms?

A: Belarussia is my motherland and the most impostant that in 1-2 years I hope I’ll come here just to rest without people running after me… (bites his lips)
P: Yea…

A: Ah, yes, how is it called... not rider…rider? Rider! Who did write it for the first time? Komsomolskaya what? Komsomolskay Pravda…
(As you already know it’s a Russian newspaper, the name means “Komsomol truth”. And this newspaper wrote about his rider – that he has a lot of beer in his rider and all. And then there were many questions about it. You know, “These stars!” ”Rybak has a terrific rider! Just impossible!… So much beer and other things…” as usual :)

A: Komsomolskaya Pravda? But it isn’t truth (audience likes this play on words :) and laughs and applauds)

(Impossible to understand what the man with a white cap wants to say and it’s impossible for Alexander too):

White Cap: blablabla (something about beer and Alexander’s rider)
A: Just keep on talking, you have a very nice voice (the audience is delighted :D)
White Cap: blablabla (something about airlines)
A: I’m sorry but my Russian isn’t perfect so I don’t understand a half of you speech…
(Presenter tries to make White Cap stopping talk)
A: I understand, the young man is sorry that I drink too much beer (audience laughs)… But he doesn’t know that I don’t drink anything.

A: If somebody writes something about love, of course he wants people to know about it… Why do the people get married? Because they want everybody to know about their love. I even don’t have to get married now because if I found a girl-friend it will be in every newspaper…
(Question from audience): Did you want that girl to hear you song?
A: Yes-yes-yes, I wanted it so much. But not for taking me back to her (sounds funny in Russian %))… But just thinking about…
P: And did she hear it? The song was dedicated to her?
A: Yes.
(Woman): Did she address back to you?
A: Not to me, but to all newspaper… (audience laughs) I think I helped her career too.
A: It’s much more interesting to be a big star in a small country than a tiny star in a huge country. And in autumn we are planning to come… but I’m not quite sure when… (asks his manager) Alena are you here? (Yes, I’m here Alexander!!! %))) I like how he pronounces my name%))) When will we come approximately? (she answers) in Septembre-October.

A: Ok, thank you for… conference. Have a nice evening. I invite you to a concert…. If you want… (He asks!!!) Ok, see you!
