There was associated great excitement to what Alexander Rybak would do on stage, both among audiences and promoters. The only thing that was sure, was that he would be without the band, alone on stage with his fiddle.

Rybak himself was rather unsure of what he would do, when he arrived at stage at Egge.
- Hello. What do you want me to do? he asked the audience, before he played a medley of songs for old and young.

He had been picturing, that there would be dancing on the tables at an evening banquet, and he even took the initiative himself, by dancing on the tables among the audience. Of course, receiving big cheers from the more than 700 people present.

After the 20 minute long show with Alexander and fiddle, he took his time, writing autographs for anyone who wanted. The energy is seemingly endless with this young man, but he admitted that he is a human being afterall, when Trønder -paper met him after the concert.

- Are you never tired, Rybak?
- Yes, but I am also tired after doing windsurfing. But I sleep very well at night, if that is your question, he replied.
