is his FB account open for everybody? or do you get his private Fb aacount from him (I don't want to write him, I'm only interesting). I didn't know that danish and norwegian is so similar in written words. I thought only norwegian and sweden is similar.

No he has closed it again. It happened because FB made som changes for all accounts. Now, you should adjust your privacy-settings , to make sure, you have the privacy you want.
We allways knew, he had an FB-account, but it was very private. You could not write to it. But recently, one of us discovered, it had changed and now, it was possible to write him, if you were friends of one of his friends. And I am friends with Kjell-Arild Tiltnes. I just wrote Alex, to tell him, that his privacy had been changed, but nothing happend and then I got sillly and wrote him a more personal message, which is the one, I posted here.

I`M DREAMING OF HAVING MY OWN CHILDREN

Time for reflection. When Christmas finally gets here,Alexander Rybak has time to be with his mom, dad and his dog Cindy after the busiest year of his life. It`s time for good and warm thoughts. This year, as all the previous years,Alexander Rybak (23) celebrate Christmas eve with mom and dad.
- I remember my first Christmas in Norway. I was six years old and we had recieved a bunch of gifts. On the second Christmas day we got many messages. People would know if we were satisfied with the gifts. We didn`t understand a thing, for in Russia, we were accustomed to open the gifts on New Years eve, he laughs.

Playing in the holiday season. Every Christmas eve the whole family are busy playing in various churches. It has become a tradition. Later in the evening they eat pork-rib. Last year it was actually Alexander himself who had to cook it. And they always have a little competition. In particular, between Alexander and dad,Igor
- We always have a competition about who gets the most gifts. This year I think I will beat my dad, Alexander laughs, and think of all the presents he gets from fans worldwide.
He promise to buy something nice for his parents this year.
- I think they had been very disappointed and upset if I had spent too much money on a gift for them. Therefore, I would rather try to give them something that means something special. It doesn`t necessarily have to cost so much.
- As a song?
- No, the songs I make I can put 13 of on a dozen. It only takes minutes to write a song, he says.

Although he is still young, Alexander is thinking about having his own children.
- I'd prefer not to be too old before I get my first child. At the same time I must prioritize different now. I live in a kind of dream.

The day that changed everything. 16th of May 2009: Half of Norway was glued in front of the TV. Alexander Rybak had just won the ESC final in Moscow. The hysteria around the boy with the fiddle is bigger than ever. Actually, he should have felt on top of the world when he was on stage and performed "Fairytale" after the victory.
- Then and there I felt no joy about the victory. I was just relieved, he says frankly.
The winner song "Fairytale" became a success all over the world. The song was about his ex-girlfriend, violinist Ingrid Mehus.
- He he, I am not mad at Ingrid who came out and told her story. It`s me who has cynically used her and our story, and I`m the one who has been a "kiss and tell-boy”. Maybe the girls have something to fear if they get to know me, he`s joking.

Popular with the ladies. He loves to flirt and does that as often as he can. He gets a good feeling from doing that..
- I will not tell you how many women I`ve dated. I've been to dinner dates with girls from 19 countries I have visited. It`s important to experience different cultures,he says with a twinkle in his eye.
- Have you been to more or less than a hundred dates?
- He he, you are trying hard here. I love to flirt with the ladies, and I do it all the time. It's a part of who I am,he says.
The attractive and sympathetic artist get offers from beautiful girls wherever he`s traveling.
- I often get offers from supermodels who want to become better acquainted with me. It has happened in Russia, Sweden and Norway. I have also received offers from celebrities, but generally I say no.

Alexander feels privileged to have a chance to do what he loves the most. The period after the final in Moscow has been both amazing and very hectic.
- I live in a dream, but people should know that there's a lot of hard work behind all of this.
On one occasion,his body just stopped. For the first time he felt burned out.
- I have fainted on stage. Or I stood in a half-unconscious state for half a minute. It was a warning sign. I have learned what I can say no to. Concerts I CAN`T cancell, while interviews can be. If I say no to an interview,I will only dissapoint one person.
- What is the most extreme program you`ve had?
- In one day I was in France, Spain and Ukraine. There I held three concerts. It had never been possible without a private plane, he says.
- How do you handle such a program?
- The more people around me are stressed, the more control and peace I must have. I am very aware of sleep, diet and routine, he says.

Was tricked. Alexander admits that he has seen a psychologist.
- It's something my management wanted me to do, to make sure that everything was okey. They actually told me that I should have a singing lesson, but suddenly I was sitting in a psychologists office.
- Do you have a girlfriend?
- It`s always one that's closer to my heart than others, but that does NOT mean I have girlfriend.
- How is your future girlfriend?
- I think I've already met her. I don`t think the love of my life is someone that I haven`t met yet.
- Do you fall in love easy?
- No, I don`t. It almost never happen.
- Is it difficult for you to be in a relationship?
- Yes, very. When I`m almost never more than a day a month in Oslo,it`s almost impossible to be in a relationship. If I never have time to see the girl,it would be foolish for both parts.
- How is it to be Alexander Rybak out on the town?
- I never go out in Oslo anymore. I want to be just like my friends when I'm out, but in the end I get all the attention. If I go out alone I perceived as someone who just want my dose of celebrity confirmation.
- Then you never get a chance to check out girls on the town?
- I liked to do that before I got famous. Now don`t have the chance to check out girls anymore. They check me out,and I don`t like that.
- How much have you earned during these months?
- I have earned enough to buy an apartment and a big tv. I have always dreamed of doing that.
- But you must have earned millions?
- I've probably done very well. But I can`t think too much about it. My dream is to earn so much that I can do some charity. There are many who deserve to get something from me. Everyone I read about in the “Se & Hør” is an example -the stories I read about ordinary people who have experienced a lot of bad things in their lives. I want to help people.

Yesterday, the fiddler complained that he does not want to wake up when he is older and regret the offers of love affairs he rejected (come on! Give the guy a break - It's a tradegy for him: he is one; the girls are gazillion; time he has is little -> How to do math with these variables??? Freaking tragedy, I'm telling you), ....


... today he longs to have own kids as soon as possible! (I figure that he discovered that it's easier to make children than to do math!)

Nothing new or interesting, except that the luggage was lost in Kopenhagen on the transit flight from Kiev to Oslo. (Explicitily: The airport workers!! Since when do you have the Kopenhagen airport worker uniform in your closet, Marianne?)

Unpleasant: It contained fan presents from Ukraine -- so I hope that he got it back!

Alex says that during the flight time, he reads the fan mail that he usually takes in his hand luggage.

Ah! And they took his quote of the lost luggage from FB and out of context making him look complaining and themselves as if he said it to them! (Way to go with professionalism, Russian press ;)))

Well, he shouldn´t have complained about the finnish airport-workers, who were striking, when he was going to New York...He complained about that in the american radio-intereview..but you know Alex?? Airport-workers allover stick together..

Probably, the danish workers made the luggage disappear, to show sympathy for the finnish colleagues...

SO BE MORE EMPATHIC TO WORKING OR STRIKING PEOPLE NEXT TIME, SMURF!!!!!

@ Marianne your post 1372 It was not airportworkers striking in Finland it was the PILOTS i am not sure that the airportworkers join in with pilots. Anyway loosing luggage when in transit is no news, it is worse when people take the wrong suitcase and dont give it back.
