You are of course aware of the fact that Eurovision will be held in Norway, thanks to the charming Alexander Rybak. One year ago he captured a whole continent from a stage in Moscow, and since then he has toured Norway and Europe. Therefore Sandvika Storsenter is proud to serve you a free concert with the big star. Thursday 6th of May 20:00 ... Vis mereAlexander is on the stage, ready to give you a fairytale experience. It is not everyday you have the possibility to enjoy an internation star closely and for free. Show up at "Helsetorget" for a musical blast. It is a perfect warming up for the big day in Telenor Arena in Bærum Saturday the 29th of May. Will anyone get close to Rybak's record of points and will Didrik defence Norways honour? Who will have the most dearing dress and will we see more ice-skating men on stage? We can hardly wait.

Alexander will appear in this program on TVNorge at 20.30 tomorrow :

This serie is about a group of people with different disabilities who live together. In tomorrows episode the girl to the left on the picture goes to a concert of her big hero, Alexander Rybak. (It looked like the concert on Akershus festning from August 09)
I don't know how much they will show of the concert and if she got to meet Alexander before/after the concert. But now you know about it :))
I don't think there is any live link, only paytv link, but maybe a Norwegian will do a record of it ?

So, the next hero is the most loud debut of the last year, Norwegian singer and violinist, born in Belorussia, that caught his Gold Fish when won Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, it is Alexander Rybak.
A.R. Hello.
Alexander, we have a discussion on a topic what is more important: concerts or corporatives or smth else at all. You also in one time in Norway had been earning on corporatives, You told about it in a story in program *Main Hero*, Have you still been earning on corporatives?
A.R. Mmm, Yes, but now I better choose what is more important for me, but, yes, when I was younger, (a lot of laugh because of his ages) I accepted everything because I had to…mmm…how is it told…to built career…there is!
And what do corporatives built career by, interesting…
A.R. By money.
Ah, financial…
In Norway, if it could be said so, in the structure of artist’s and singer’s earnings what place do corporatives take?
A.R. Officially, it is, of course, albums and concerts, but and I couldn’t earn at all on bread and water without corporav (he seems corporatives)…happhhh 8)
After your winning on Eurovision have your fees on corporatives grown?
A.R. Mmm…on the contrary, they have decreased in general.
Have decreased? It is false.
It is Norwegian touch to showbiz, the more you work, greater you decrease your price, it is right. It is logical.
A.R. No, I think it is just after Eurovision I began to cooperate in Norway I began to cooperate better with best companies and agents that, of course, take more money for it.
And have you been performing more in SNG countries or in Norway?
A.R. In Norway, of course.
Among Norwegian artists, among west artists, performance in Moscow, for example, what is it, is it prestigious or is it simply money?
A.R. Oh, why?! It is very prestigious. I’m very appreciated that people all the time invite me as an artist.
And you, Are you going to invite Young Talent?
Where?
To your radio.
Young Talent sounds on our radio.
Do you want to hear the quote of modern Russian Fm Radio? It is such word as @Unformat(not suitable music)@ or @Format (suitable music) @ as you want. And they mantle behind of these terms. They built their business based on this fact. If you don’t pay tax (money), you are informal (not suitable).
Artemiy, tell me, pls, Is Rybak Music Format or Unformat or did his music change its form from one to another.
Oh, Rybak Music is a format for any Radio Station. He has beautiful song that from one side is POP(popular) and from another there is a little folk, so I think, that any Station (Radio) with a great pleasure take it in rotation.
A.R. Thank you very much, but Format (Suitable music) what does it mean?
And, I want say more that all this history…Hello…
Kobzon: Answer to Alexander…He asked what Format is.
You’ll scare Kobzon now. (A lot of laughs)
Igor, what is it Format for you, Alexander asked.
I’m Unformat at all.
It is uncomfortable for Director to shoot you.
Someone (I really can’t determine) doesn’t give me a chance to false because he by himself went to stations, TV-channels, he spoke about me and he asked, blessed, mmm …blessed, as it is said, pls. help him, let him show, let him sing, and as a result was the phrase *It is not Format* , *Nadgiev is not Format* in short. By the way, on Russian Radio I was also told *Your music is not Format, we won’t listen to your songs*.
And was it so?
Yes, it was.
Ok, understand.
If I bring to Russian Radio the song in English and will stamp and say *Bastards, why don’t you turn on my songs*. Oh, Yes, why they clamp the creativity. It is wrong. The same will be if I bring Heavy Metall Music to Radio Jazz and say…*So, why are you so, Give me to Listen, and Antonov listens Jazz, Let him listen Heavy Metall*.
That’s why now we bring POP music to Russian Radio.
Bring it to Radio POPsa.
Dmitriy Konnov, tell us, pls, do you always take just Formal Music?
You know, with us there is something another history, we usually find unknown artist because I work in the sound record company in that *dying ,yes, Artemiy Yakimovich, kind of music industry*, that’t why usually person comes to us or brings to us his music material and after it is becoming clear if he has some spark or charisma and what he is doing, can it be interested for other people. And I tell you, just 1% has a chance to share with you, with listeners, with audience by smth. Behind the 99% there is nothing to stand except stupid goofy ponties and awful senseless ambitions.
A.R. It is wanted to say…ohhhh…it is good that people like Dima in Universal are , but usually, I don’t know what is the situation here, but in Norway there is such word as *hirakiya*, how it is…
@hierarchy@
A.R. Yes, *ierarkiya* (it was sounded again wrong and seemed to be funny), oh, of course, in Norway in any case people are on the top, then business is like sound recording company, and then just artists are in the bottom. And if artist wants to get the contract with sound recording company he has to prove that all this people will buy it. And it’s a pity that there is a crisis now and everyone is afraid, understand…And before Eurovision I showed my song and other songs but they told @it’s normal, normal, but violin is for what???and all these chords are extra, it is too beautiful for us, it won’t be so, we need just simpler one@ And then when I said *I want to go to Eurovision*, they answered *No-no, it will harm to your career* and so on…*We don’t like you, it is abnormal music*, and then, when they heard that people liked it, just they said *Oh, we would like to work with you*.
And you? Did you listen last songs of Alexander Rybak? How it is to you? as for the person through which many generations of artists passed. Is he Format or Unformat?
Format. Certainly, He is Format because he has his own Listeners. Answering the question *Do I like him or not*
Yes, personally you.
As personally for me, I prefer Antonov.
(A lot of laughs, in a reason that Antonov is a very old singer from a Soviet Times and he is shown in a brown coat)
You know, there is one more interesting question in the end of our program, the proposition to quote Russian Music, how, for example, in some time the same was made in your Birth country, in Belorussia, if I correct tell, near 75% legally was reserved for the Belorussian singers on Radio and TV-channels also. So, should we quote? Vladimir Girinovskiy, political leader and etc…tells about quotes…
In the draft of a law it is provided that time limit is 60%, it should be sounded Russian Music, Songs, i.e. National Culture, and 40% any foreign music could be sounded, it is normal restrictions that act in many world countries, we have a huge number of Russian songs, Russian poetry, Russian Music, so Let it turns on, we have everything even with over plus. If they are not had in abundance this, I’ll give them.
So, here it is?
Here it was the patriot opinion.
Here it is Hamlet question *To quote or not to quote*, Alexander.
A.R. Personally for me it would be not very good because I have a mini lexical base in Russian and if I write more over Russian texts it would be similar to *Sasha goes for a walk and on violin plays in short* (sorry for rhyme I just tried to make close poetry that he did and and with the same sense). But simply, two months ago I heard from many important people here that we in Russia would be love to be international and then so you have to decide what you really want, to become international or more (how it is in Russian, he forgot, so I corrected) national.
What can be the results for Russia if it (quote project) will be used? Will be or won’t be the harm?
Any artist absolutely doesn’t care right now, supposably, how often he will be sounded, because everything nowadays goes to numbers, goes to internet, everything rushes into this space. And perhaps, we are losing not only generation, but also the whole Radio period, you see, in the way that all Radios are online.
You early hurry up.
I say to you about Radio, if Girinovskiy is not really in course of our Radio Situation. From one side, we have a lot of Radio Stations where 100% of Soviet and Russian music sounds, no matter, you want to hear criminal music, pop music or etc. From another side, on the contrary we have Radio Stations that Yuriy Antonov loves to hear, it is Radio Jazz, it is Radio Classic FM and if this law will be accepted these Radio Stations simply have to be closed, because new music such type is not produced and not recorded any more.

Host: Our next guest is the loudest debut of the last year – the Norwegian singer and violinist of Belarusian origin who has caught his golden fish by winning the Eurovision song contest 2009 in Moscow. This is Alexander Rybak.
Alex: Hello.
Host: Alexander, we have had a debate here – what is more important –corporatives (a company’s corporative party), concerts or something else. You too in your time in Norway were making money on performing on corporatives, you told about that in our program “Main Hero”. Do you keep on making money on corporatives?
Alex: Yes, but now I’m more free to choose what is important for me. But, yes, when I was young…. Then, of course, I was agreed with the practice that you need to… career… how it’s called…built up your career, here it is.
Titomir: How do the corporatives build up a career?
Alex: By money.
Titomir: Ah, financially.
Host: In Norway in the structure of the singer’s earnings what part do the corporatives take?
Alex: Officially it’s, of course, albums and concerts, but I wouldn’t earn for bread and water at all without corporatives.
Host: After the victory on Eurovision have your fees on corporatives increased?
Alex: On the contrary, they have decreased, actually.
Host: Have decreased.
Titomir: It’s a Norwegian approach to show-business – the more work you have the more you lower your price, that’s all right, it’s logical.
Alex: No, it’s just that after Eurovision I have got to work in Norway with the much better companies and agents and, of course, they take more money for that.
Hanga: And do you perform more in CIS or in Norway?
Alex: In Norway, of course.
Host: Among the Norwegian artists, among the Western artists in general, the performances in Moscow, for example, what is it? Is it prestigious or it’s just money?
Alex: Why? It’s very prestigious. I’m very grateful that people invite me all the time as an artist in Russia.
Hanga: Are you going to invite the young talent (meaning Alex)?
Drobish: Where to?
Hanga: To your radio.
?: We play the young talent on our radio.
Titomir: Do you want the quotation – the problem of the all of modern Russian radio-stations? It’s the word – “non-format” or “format” - whatever you like. They cover themselves up with it and built up their business according to it. If you don’t pay money – you are “non-format”.
Host: Artemiy, tell us, is Rybak a “format” or “non-format” or has he gone over from one condition to another?
Troitckij: Rybak is a “format” for every radio-station, he has beautiful song, i.e. it’s, on the one hand, a pop-song, on the other hand it has a bit of folklore. I think that any radio-station would play it with a big pleasure. And it’s exactly what is happening.
Alex: Thank you very much, I’m trying. And what does “format” mean?
Troitckij: And also I wanted to say…
Host: Igor Nadzhiev, come in, please.
Kobzon: Answer to Alexander, he asks what “format” is.
Host: What is “format”?
?: You’ll scare Kobzon now.
Host: Igor, what is format, Alexander asks.
Nadzhiev: I’m a “non-format” at all.
Host: It’s uncomfortable for the director to film you.
Nadzhiev: Kobzon won’t let me lie, because he was going to the radio-stations, TV-channels, he was talking about me, asking, begging, saying: “May they show him, let him sing”. And eventually everything was coming up to one – they say to Kobzon (about me) – he’s “non-format”, Nadzhiev is a “non-format’. And I remember that on the radio “Russian radio” they also told me that it’s a “non’format”, we won’t listen to your songs.
Titomir: So, it was like that?
Nadzhiev: Yes, it was.
Drobish: If I’ll bring to the “Russian-radio” a song in English and will be stamping with my feet saying –“asshole, why don’t you play my song?” It’s wrong. If I’ll bring a heavy-metal to the “Radio Jazz” and will be saying: “Why are you like that? Let them, who listen to a jazz on your radio, like Antonov does, listen to a heavy-metal”.
Titomir: If I bring a Russian popsa (low quality pop-music) to the “Russian radio”…
Drobish: Bring it to the radio “Popsa”!
Host: Dmitry Kononov, tell us, do you take only “format”?
Dmitriy Kononov (representing the Universal, a company Alex works with in Russia) You know, our story is different. Usually we find an artist nobody knows about. I work in the sound-recording company, in a “dying” kind of the music industry. Therefore a person comes, brings their musical material and after that it gets clear – does he have a sparkle, charisma and if what he does is able to make other people interested. And I can tell you that only one percent of them are able to share something with you, with listeners. And there is nothing stands behind the 99 percent of them; it’s just stupid, footless showing-offs and awful meaningless ambitions.
Alex: I want to say that it’s good that there are people like Dima in Universal but usually… I don’t know how it’s here but there is such word in Norway - hierarchy…
Host: Hierarchy.
Alex: Hierarchy, of course. In Norway the people are on the top, then sound-recording business, right? And then artists are down on the bottom. And an artist in order to get to the music-company needs to prove that all the people will buy the product. And unfortunately it’s a crisis now and everybody is afraid, you know? And before Eurovision I showed my song and other songs and they said: “Well, it’s OK but what is that violin for? And all these accords are unnecessary, don’t do that, you do it too beautiful, don’t do that, you need to do it much more simple”. And then when I said that I wanted to go to Eurovision, they said: “No-no-no, it will ruin your career. And anyway we don’t like you and so on. It’s not normal music”. And then when they heard that people liked it, then they said: “Do you want to work with us?”
Host: Iosif Davidovich, have you heard the Rybak’s song?
Kobzon: Yes, I’ve heard.
Host: And how is it to you, a person who have seen the generations of artists have passed. Is it “format” or “non-format”?
Kobzon: “Format”. Certainly it’s a “format”; since he has listeners – he’s a “format”. Other thing is whether I like it or not.
Host: Do you like it?
Kobzon: I like Antonov.
Host: There is another interesting question while we’re driving up to in the end of our program. It’s a suggestion to set up quotas for Russian music. The same way they have done it in your country of origin, Belarus, where, if I’m not mistaken, the 75% of time on the radio and on the TV was reserved for the Belarusian performers, by law. So, is it needed to set quotas? Vladimir Zhirinovskiy, the vice-speaker of the State Government and the leader of the LDPR-party suggests to set up quotas.
Zhirinovskiy: In the project of the law it’s provided that there will be time limit of the 60% when only Russian music, Russian songs will be played and 40% for any other foreign music. It’s a normal restriction that works in many countries in the world. We have a huge amount of Russian songs, Russian poetry, Russian music. Let them turn it on; we have it all with an excess. If they won’t have enough, I’ll give it to them.
Host: Well, here is a Hamlet’s question – to set quotas or to not set quotas. Alexander?
Alex: Well, for me personally it will be not very good. Because I have a minimal vocabulary in Russian. And if I’ll be writing Russian texts like – “Sasha came out for walking and started fiddling”. It’s just... Two months ago I heard many important people saying: “We, in Russia, want to become more international” And now this… So, you need to decide – whether you want to become more international or you want more to… how to say… (illegibly).
Host: How all the story with quotas will affect Russia then? Will there be any harm?
Zhukov: Any artist now does not care much how many times they will play him/her on. Because everything has gone over to the digital, to the Internet, to that space. And probably we’re loosing the whole era of radio. All the radio-stations are dying.
Emeljanov: You are too much in a hurry.
Troitskij: I think that Zhirinovskij is a not aware of our situation with radio at all. Because there is a big amount of radio-stations where they play 100% of Soviet and Russian music. Whatever you want – chanson, pop-music. On the other hand, on the other pole, there are radio-stations which Juriy Antonov likes to listen to. Like radio “Jazz”, “Classic FM”. And if that law will be taken then all those radio-station will have to be closed. Because in our country such music is almost not produced, not sounded and not recorded.

Rybak to VGTV: - The most difficult month of my life
(VG) Alexander Rybak (23) admits that life is hard these days, and that his mood is like a "big rollercoaster", with high ups and low downs.
But still,it is an excited and happy Alexander that encounters a horde of young fans before the festival premiere of the movie "The Dragon coach" at the Colosseum Kino in Oslo. Alexander gives voice to the Viking boy Hiccups in the animation film. Because what Alexander likes most to spend his time on is this – being with children. Alexander therefore gives a lot of time to write autographs.
Alexander speaking to a ten year old boy while addressing VG at the same time:
– “This is the full reward for practicing. When I was your age, I had no friends at school. So while the others played together, I practiced on signing autographs, "said Alexander
Going up and down
On direct question from VGTV about how he is feeling, Alexander replied frankly: - It is very up and down, that is true. Like a big rollercoaster. We’re talking really big rollercoaster like in America..
Lately Alexander has made it clear to the world that he is suffering mentally. Fans worldwide have made declarations of support after Alexander for a few weeks ago announced his breakdown on Facebook:
"(...) Please give me a break. (...) I am in deep shit right now. Yesterday I had a nervous breakdown and started hitting the wall (!) To my hands were bleeding. The big guys are against me, while you demand the whole world of me (...) ", was parts of the worrying message from Alexander.
Difficult month
He got a lot of response. Thousands have shown their support on the website. Alexander tells to VG that he has appreciated the enormous response.
- It's very cozy, "he says about all the sympathy statements.
- This month has been the hardest in my life, I would say. Those who have supported and called me every day, are the ones I am going to appreciate most in the next few years, explains Alexander.
Believe in brighter times to come
Last weekend it was reported by Alexander and management BopMentometer that they end their cooperation. The reason given was "disagreements about the priorities of objectives". Alexander explains to VG that he believes life will get better, when he is building his own team.
- It will be nice, just to have people who I trust and who I know well, "said the 23-year-old.
Alexander confirms, when VGTV ask if his new agenda implies a scale down tempo.
- Yes! he replied firmly before he adds: - But that does not mean the quality is getting worse.
- Have reached the highlight
Alexander now need time to figure out his life.
- Is there life after, when you have reached the highlight of your life? Asks the Nesodden-boy, and is referring to last year's giant breakthrough with the ESC victory in Moscow. Two weeks ago, he was also rewarded the year's Grammy.
– Now I need to find a little more inner highlights? Alexander responds to his own question.
– Wimpy
Alexander find resemblance to himself in the character he gives voice to in the "Dragon coach." The main character, Viking boy Hiccup, is the son of the Viking chief (played by Helge Jordal).
- The exterior is the same, Alexander grins. - We both have an uplift nose and cow eyes. Otherwise, we are pretty wimpy, "said Alexander about the similarities between Hiccups and himself.
Will continue to be open
- And just like Hiccups, I will not talk too much about how things will work out fine. I will rather prove it, Alexander says with a gleam in his eye. He also assured that he will continue to share his life with the world via Facebook, in the same open-hearted manner as when he wrote about the collapse.
- My theory is that as long as you are not open and honest negativly about other individuals and you don’t attack others, then it is not so dangerous to show your own weaknesses. It makes me only more accessible to people. That’s what I think ... Time will tell, smiles Alexander who before today's movie saw his Viking Dad Helge Jordal (64) and his Viking-girlfriend (played by Kjersti Sandal (31) for the first time -
The story in "The Dragon coach" is set in the Viking society Borkøy. Hiccups is far from a bully. More described as a rather weak boy. But when Hiccup becomes the friend of the dangerous dragon Toothless, he injured him during an attack, a complicated double life starts.

Thanks, Olina Novicova, Your variant of translation is even more detail than mine...:D
but it is also clear that always easy to correct something than to do from the white list. I don't mean that you, perhaps, don't do it from A to Z by your own, just want to say that I tried to do it fast in a purpose to give a chance for other's to understand what was there, in the Program, in short time that most people asked for. There is just one interesting moment: you posted it through 5 hours that is too enough time for making literate correction.
Don't be offended, but you better next time ask if someone wants to have corrections in his translation. As I'm sure I won't and I also think if it wasn't be published here, it wouldn't have some more "corrective variant" under. I did it for my friends and for their thread as they really didn't understand Russian but wanted to know.
So, in linguist ethics it is not called as Own Variant it has another name as "Reprocessed Variant" that could be possible just after discussions about it before.
Thanks.
Marriane, Dear, don't swear me, pls...:Q
I can't keep silence when I have and want to say...

It´s okay Luchien..We all understand. When you hurry to make some work done, it is because, the time-factor is more important than the correctness of the result. But it is only nice, that someone, later, uses the time to make more perfectioned version.
It is not a correction of your work and people don´t have to ask for permission to do their own work. The rest of us enjoy all the versions, we get.

Ok, but next time it will be better to see perfectioned version first. ;D
I'm sure, Olina could do it.
They don't have to ask a permission only in the way if it is their own work, You are right as always, but it's impossible to prove on the score of existence another one that moreover was the first. This is the rule of Linguistic Ethics.
I like that you and other enjoy variants. It is main. :Q
